Portugal Film Screenings aposta na divulgação e internacionalização do cinema português
A Zero em Comportamento e a Portugal Film, em colaboração com o IndieLisboa, vão apresentar uma selecção de novos filmes portugueses a compradores, distribuidores, directores e programadores de festivais internacionais.
O objectivo destas sessões é aproveitar sinergias e criar as condições adequadas para aumentar a visibilidade internacional do cinema português, concentrando num mesmo lugar filmes, produtores, realizadores e decisores. Destinam-se em exclusivo a profissionais da indústria cinematográfica estrangeira, que são expressamente convidados para este efeito.
Estão confirmados, entre outros, Mark Peranson – coordenador de programação, Festival de Locarno, Jean-Pierre Rehm – director, FID, Claudia Maci – coordenadora de programação, Festival dei Populi, Davide Oberto – programador, Festival de Torino, Maria Bonsanti – directora, Cinéma du Réel, Daniel Chabannes – distribuidor, produtor, Épicentre, Gudrun Sommer – programadora, Doxs!, Ariel Schweitzer – crítico, Cahiers du Cinéma, Marie-Pierre Duhamel Muller – programadora, Festival de Roma, Gabe Kinger – crítico, Cinemascope, Alexandra Gramatke – distribuidora, programadora, Hamburg Short film, Tamaki Okamoto – distribuidora, produtora, Carte Blanche, Mick Hannigan – programador, IndieCork, Sesi Bergeret -programadora, L’Alternativa, Sara Garcia – directora, Play-Doc.
Os filmes portugueses apresentados são inéditos, ou muito recentes, e apresentados em várias fases de desenvolvimento (rodagem, montagem, pós-produção) de géneros diferentes (ficção, animação, documentário, experimental) e foram propositadamente seleccionados para serem apresentados durante as Screenings (mesmo que não incluídos no programa oficial do Festival).
A Portugal Film é uma marca da Zero em Comportamento criada com o objectivo de promover a internacionalização do Cinema Português.
As sessões decorrem no primeiro fim-de-semana do festival, nos dias 25, 26 e 27 de Abril, no Cinema São Jorge e na Culturgest.
Portugal Film Screenings invests in the diffusion and internationalisation of Portuguese cinema
“Zero em Comportamento” and “Portugal Film” are collaborating with IndieLisboa to present a selection of brand new Portuguese movies to several buyers, distributors, producers and programmers who work with international festivals. The aim of these sessions – where movies, producers, directors and decision-makers will be present – is to build up the international visibility of Portuguese cinema. They are aimed exclusively to people who work in the non-Portuguese cinematography industry, who are invited to the meetings beforehand. Among those who have already confirmed their presence are Mark Peranson (Programming Coordinator of the Locarno Festival), Jean-Pierre Rehm (Director of the FID film festival), Claudia Maci (Programming Coordinator of “Festival dei Populi”), Davide Oberto (Programmer of the Torino Festival), Maria Bosanti (Director of “Cinéma du Réel”), Daniel Chabannes (Distributor and Producer of “Épicentre”), Gudrun Sommer (Programmer of “Doxs!”), Ariel Schweitzer (Critic of “Cahiers du Cinéma”), Marie-Pierre Duhamel Muller (programmer of the Rome Festival), Gabe Kinger (Critic of “Cinemascope”), Alexandra Gramatke (Distributor and Programmer of Hamburg Short Film Festival), Tamaki Okamoto (Distributor and Producer of “Carte Blanche”), Mick Hannigan (Programmer of IndieCork), Sesi Bergeret (Programmer of “L’Alternativa”) and Sara Garcia (Director of “Play-Doc”).
The Portuguese movies that will be showcased have never been seen before or are very recent, and will be presented in several developing stages (shooting, assembly and post-production) and will be representative of different genres (fiction, animation, documentary, experimental). These were specifically selected to be presented during “Screenings” (even if not included in the official programme).
Portugal Film is a “Zero em Comportamento” brand created with the purpose of promoting the internationalisation of Portuguese cinema.
Sessions will occur during the festival’s first weekend (April 25th, 26th and 27th) in “Cinema São Jorge” and “Culturgest”.
