Depois da série transmitida pela TVI, Bairro ganha uma versão para as salas de cinema. Muita acção num filme que tem a particularidade de contar com 4 realizadores.
SINOPSE
Diana, nasceu e cresceu no Bairro da Estrela Polar, perdeu os pais quando ainda era uma criança e lidera um bando de criminosos que negoceia em droga, lavagem de dinheiro, armas, quadros, jóias e tabaco. Comanda os principais assaltos por toda Lisboa. É uma líder fria, calculista, protectora, mas também mulher sedutora, engenhosa e solidária.
O Bairro agradece-lhe a generosidade pagando com o silêncio sobre as suas actividades criminosas. Capaz de matar com uma frieza implacável. Os assaltos mais ousados são comandados por ela e a quadrilha observa um respeito ilimitado às suas decisões. A violência alastra cada vez mais. O Bairro está por sua conta. É o reduto inexpugnável que a protege. De arma em punho abre caminho, a tiro e ao murro, com golpes de audácia que deixam a Polícia Judiciária perplexa.
Diana é um desafio para a Polícia Judiciária que não mede esforços para tentar apanhá-la. Desmantelar a quadrilha de Diana torna-se uma obsessão. A Polícia Judiciária reconhece que está perante o maior desafio da instituição.
E por isso não a deixará em paz enquanto não a meter nos calabouços… ou na morgue. Diana enfrentará conflitos internos no meio do seu bando, a cobiça de gangs rivais e uma perseguição feroz pela Polícia Judiciária. Diana resistirá a todos estes desafios?

Following the series that was featured on Portuguese television channel TVI, “Bairro” – the series’ name in Portuguese – has now been made into a film. This action packed film unusually has 4 directors.
SYNOPSIS
Diana, born and raised in the Polar Star Neighbourhood (“Bairro da Estrela Polar”), lost her parents when she was just a child and now leads a criminal gang who are involved in drug dealing, money laundering, and theft of weapons, paintings, jewellery and tobacco . She’s behind all the main crimes throughout Lisbon. She is a cold, calculating and protective leader, but also a seductive woman, crafty and compassionate.
The Neighbourhood thanks her for her generosity by keeping quiet about her criminal activities. She is capable of killing mercilessly. The most daring crimes are controlled by her and the gang, who maintains an unquestioned respect for her decisions. Violence is spreading increasingly. The Neighbourhood is on its own, and she is protected by an impenetrable stronghold. Gun in hand, with shots and punches, she strikes, leaving the police perplexed.
Diana is a challenge to the police and they spare no effort to try and catch her. The police realise that they are facing their biggest challenge, and taking down Diana’s gang soon becomes an obsession.
They won’t leave her alone until they have her in prison … or in the morgue. Diana will have to face internal conflicts within her gang, the greed of rival groups and fierce pursuit by the police. Will Diana be able to overcome all these challenges?
