Pedro Resende finalista em festival de criativos
O jovem realizador independente português Pedro Resende é finalista do festival de criativos de Nova Iorque One Screen estando entre onze videoclipes finalistas a competir com produtoras de renome internacional, como a Spy Films ou a Great Guns.
O português Pedro Resende integra a lista de nomeados na categoria de Videoclipe do festival One Screen, evento de referência para a comunidade de criativos nova-iorquina e subsidiário do festival de design e publicidade One Show.
O realizador independente está entre os onze finalistas da categoria, concorrendo com um videoclipe originalmente feito para o concurso Valtari Mystery Film Experiment, organizado pela banda Islandesa Sigur Rós, na qual atingiu o 12º lugar entre mais de 900 candidaturas a nível mundial.
“Forever” foi produzido de forma independente nos Estados Unidos em Austin, Texas, tendo vindo a ganhar prémios em vários festivais internacionais de cinema.
O realizador também se destacou recentemente ao vencer o concurso Animation Talent Award com a curta Imaginarium – The Film, a estrear em breve.
Os vencedores das diversas categorias serão anunciados a 28 de janeiro, num teatro em Nova Iorque, nos Estados Unidos, naquele que é considerado o maior evento mundial nesta área.
Pedro Resend amongst the finalists in creative festival
The young independent director Pedro Resende is amongst the finalists of the New York’s One Screen creative festival, where 11 videoclips will compete with some internationally renowned production companies, such as Spy Films and Great Guns.
The Portuguese Pedro Resende is on the nominee’s list for the Best Music Video category of the One Screen Film Festival, a benchmark event for the New Yorker’s creative community and a subsidiary of the One Show’s design and advertising festival.
The independent director is competing with a music video originally made for the Valtari Mystery Film Experiment competition, held by the Icelander band Sigur Rós, in which he won the 12th place amongst more than 900 candidates worldwide.
“Forever” was produced independently in the USA, in Austin, Texas. It has won multiple awards in various international film festivals.
The director has also stood out for having won the Animation Talent Award competition with the short-film “Imaginarium – The Film”, which will soon be released.
The winners of the different categories will be revealed on the 28th of January, in a theatre in New York, USA, in an event which is considered to be the greatest event worldwide in this area.
